Stephan Nehler (President & Director of Floras Best Greenhouses LTD.)

Born in Lübeck, Germany, Stephan successfully leads the food wholesale company Rasmussen & Co. Gemüsegroßhandel GmbH for over 25 years. This company is family owned for a while now and before Stephan, was lead by his father. After building contacts with local people in Uganda, he decided to strengthen business relationships with Ugandan entrepreneurs to facilitate mutual growth. Together with Frank, he founded Floras Best Greenhouses LTD.

Manfred Sieg (Vice-President)

Living in Hamburg, Germany, but born in Gdansk, Poland, Manfred lends his expertise to our team. He worked in the advertising industry for years and with his independent spirit he is the drive behind many social relationships we maintain.

Asiimwe John Monday (Director)

Our man on the ground. John takes care of every problem arising on our project sites with skill and an eye for the best solution. Years of experience in the tourism industry and many contacts in the Kampala – Entebbe region make John an invaluable part of our team.

He too was born in Lübeck and is  an experienced professional from the waste disposal industry. Together with Stephan, he founded Floras Best Greehouses LTD.

The surname is no coincidence. Stephans son and the newest member of the team. Robin adds his psychological expertise to the projects and takes care of matters in the digital realm.

In Memoriam

Luisa Natiwi.  With her moving story, that is thightly intertwined with the history of Uganda, Luisa was our very special contact and bond. She knew Germany and Uganda and understood to connect the two cultures like no other. With her passing, our team and our personal lives have suffered a huge loss. We will honour her memory and continue to realize her ideals and dreams.
