2016

How we started:

Originally, all of us are from different backgrounds. Therefor, it might sometimes be strange how we found our way together. Yet in 2016, Stephan Nehler, Manfred Sieg and Luisa Natiwi connected during the Africa Days in Hamburg and started our journey.

On the business forum that accompanied the Africa Days, Stephan was given the possibility to present his ideas reagarding a joint economical growth alongside other representatives of the German economy.

One simple question raised the attention of the audience. “I am a greengrocer. What can I learn from you so we can grow together?”

Our first steps in Uganda:

Gratefully, we accepted the invitation of H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, and travelled for the first time to Uganda. Our goal was to get to know the people and the culture of our new friends. As a sign of our new connection, Stephan and Manfred were initiated as warriors of the Karamojong tribe. This is the tribe where Luisa grew up. SInce then, we return to Uganda on a regular basis and are happy to recognize it as a second home.

Working together productively:

Generously, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, took time out of his busy schedule to listen to our ideas on different topics. With mutual support and collaboration, we are able to initiate projects that ecourage sustainable economical growth in Uganda. The value for all parties, Ugandan and German, is  beyond measure.

Our engagement in agriculture:

On our first meeting with HON Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja (MP), Minister of agriculture, animal industry and fisheries, we discussed possibilities to get involved in Ugandan agriculture. Here, we want to build projects that support Uganda in a way to add value to the local economy. This is always the direction we head to. At the moment, we erect greenhouses. (see

That is history, what now?

What you read right now is just a small overview of recent times. It just barely touches the depth of the topics we handled with a multitude of different people. We can not stress enough, how valuable the support and collaboration of all our partners in Uganda is to realise our vision. Not to mention the openness and hospitality of the people of Uganda who gave us a second home.

How our projects and other matters of concern develop, you will be able to see here. Our aspirations have not come to an end by far and with ever trip we meet new people who inspire us with new ideas. The future stays a great adventure for us. Stay excited!
